We finally made it to Nantucket again, to visit Chris’s family. Everyone but Meg got there (and she’s 6 months pregnant). We had to cut the visit short due to bad weather coming in on our departure day…but on the second day we did a great walk along the bluffs to the northwest of the island.
You walk through people’s yards, around the hedges, and past many yards of rugosas. It ends at a lighthouse. Total roundtrip walk was probably 3 miles. We had beautiful weather; it will never be nicer there as most things were still green, although the flowers were as drought stricken as ours this year.
