Since we only have one big dog, the need for paths seems to be lower. But it’s funny how useful they are for us, for the kids, and for Louisa. I spend a few minutes after a light snow repairing them. The snow has been light so far, only about 6″ on the ground. But it’s been spitting snow for the last few weeks, lots of quick plowing with a shovel, very little digging.
Dawn was impressed with the paths when the kids were playing outside. I don’t know if I’ll do them if we get a 15″ snow, but I can always go out with snowshoes instead of a shovel.
