Just came back in a from a brilliantly sunny day that’s pretty cold (18 degrees). I spent 15 minutes doing tiny steps to stamp down the paths. It’s been snowshoes, then walking, then tiny steps, and in one path, sideways steps. Anything to get Appa out to the woods to do her business :).
I saw an interesting set of tracks…probably our local fox again. Came from the far woods, followed in Louisa’s tracks (had to leap to do it) and then out to the eastern woods. I got pictures for Tom. Feel went way down, and a tail was dragging. It wasn’t going fast but I didn’t see any “dives” for mice…but suffice to say wearing just my short boots, I didn’t want to go into the deeper snow to check it out. (There’s about 10″ on the ground right now).
