My walking step numbers have been way up over any previous year. I got out a lot before taking the ValleyNet job, but I’ve still managed to average 8500 or so a day, which is 25% more than even last year…no comparison to life in Dover, even walking around the building on my headset all the time. I’m remote, so I can wander while talking or listening to a zoom call, which helps. I’m also kind of a maniac about getting out, especially with time after supper in the late spring. A sample of my “counting” on walks:
40 inch wide dead tree
A campfire and Appa being very recalcitrant
17 different bird calls
14 different flowers
Appa very tuggy! 6 trucks
3 bird/animal calls I’d never heard before…2pm?
7 bugs
11 daisies for Dee
3 Loon calls
9 cars, 12 birds
Appa is starting to get a little scared on the walks, she doesn’t like the turn onto Miller Pond Rd. Don’t know how we’ll handle it.
